HIELO takes its name from the Spanish for “ice”, evoking the cold feeling of metal pressed against the skin. This ongoing jewelry project explores shape, material and texture in contemporary pieces designed for everyday wear. A dialogue is established between the organic, shifting forms of baroque pearls and molten silver, and the sleek polish of industrially made chains and links.
